KeyboardTester.uk is a small browser-based diagnostic toolkit built by Mat and published under the INLine Computers brand — a small portfolio of web apps from the Mendips in Somerset. No installs, no signup, no account — every test runs entirely in your browser on your own machine.
Keyboardtester.uk was originally created to help check keyboards for sticky keys and intermittent faults while I was working. Since then, it has slowly evolved into a small suite of online keyboard tools.
I am Mat — an independent developer and hardware tinkerer based in the Mendips. I run INLine Computers which is really just the umbrella I publish a handful of small, web apps under. The tools on this site are ones I actually wanted to exist and to be useful. If they help, great! If you have any feedback please do let me know.
KeyboardTester.uk is one of several small browser tools I maintain. Each one started because I needed it for a real task. If you are interested in deeper pointer testing, try mousetester.uk. For game controller drift and latency, see gamepadtester.uk. For screen diagnostics, screentester.uk.
Testing is handled entirely in your browser — no keystrokes, pointer events, or gestures are stored or transmitted.
